This cafe may look small from the outside, but it actually has several seating areas, including both indoor and outdoor sections. The menu is very diverse, offering a wide range of breakfast dishes, cold and hot drinks, and desserts. I ordered a coffee latte and a slice of carrot cake. The coffee was perfectly made and was hot as I asked. As for the carrot cake, its flavor was different from what I’m used to. It had some unusual spices that gave it a unique taste. The cream was also heavier than I normally prefer, as I’m used to a lighter frosting. Of course, this is just a matter of personal taste, and others might actually like it this way.

One of the best restaurants in Cape Town !!!,we had the breakfast toastie,the avo toast ,the scrambled eggs ,the open faced omelette and the flapjacks, all meals were soo good,but their iced coffee with cinnamon and honey is out of this worlddd ,we’ve Been searching for the best iced coffee in Cape Town and the search is finally over! Our waiter Jade was lovely and helpful,she was even accommodating to our request to lower the music volume which we appreciated .overall 10/10 experience,recommend.

I had a solo brunch last weekend, and the staff was amazing - friendly and always available to assist. I loved the atmosphere, the food, and their healthy smoothie, which stood out to me. I am definitely coming back soon!

Had such an incredible morning at Kanéla Café during their coffee rave! First time for me and not the last. Atmosphere was buzzing, the coffee was amazing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I can’t wait to try some of the food next time as the menu also looks fantastic. Such a unique way to start a Friday! Highly recommend Kanéla Café for anyone looking for great coffee and good vibes.
